AKC Museum of the Dog: Sculptor Louise Peterson’s ‘Chickadee’

Each year since 1987, as part of the Sunflower Cluster of dog shows held in Valley Center, Kan., in April, judges for the Art Show at the Dog Show select winners in a variety of categories, and one artist’s work is named Best of Show. Each year’s winning artwork is then purchased and donated to the AKC Museum of the Dog.

‘It’s Business As Usual’ Promises Eukanuba After P&G Announces Departure From Pet Care Industry

EUKANUBA says it is ‘business as usual’ for its UK dog-showing interests despite the announcement that its owner, Procter & Gamble (P&G), is to quit the pet care business.

Its exit has begun with Mars’ acquisition of Eukanuba, Iams and Natura brands for $2.9 billion ‘in cash’. The US conglomerate is buying the rights to the brands in North America
