A Look Back – A Look Forward

In 2013, Best In Show Daily brought its audience the very best in coverage of the fancy. We explored editorially and through photography backgrounds on show dogs, articles on health, politics, profiles, tragedy, and small & large shows, shot by top photographers. We covered the topics our community most wanted to see, everyday.

We’ve expanded our coverage to include geographies near & far, with regular coverage from the United Kingdom, Europe, the Southern Hemisphere, Asia & soon Israel. Our use of technology has set the pace for digital publications. Regardless of where you are, how you like to receive content – mobile, desktop, social media, The Daily email, we have a solution for you.

Best In Show Daily has the largest audience of Judges, Handlers, Breeders & fanciers of any publication in its segment. Our audience is world-wide and engages actively by participating in our facebook where we have the most engaged audience, re-tweets our tweets, and regularly comments on columns. We offer innovative, cost-effective ad products to showcase dogs as only a digital medium can, dynamically. Tap, click, expand and enjoy a more complete understanding of our advertised dogs. Anywhere, anytime.

IN 2013, we launched our own Results product, with results posted through multiple channels: twitter, home page crawler, home page column, facebook, and by going to http://www.bestinshowdaily.com/daily-results/ We will continue to expand this product to offer more services by taking advantage of the capabilities of digital.

We’ve said farewell to VIPs, both dogs and people that we will miss greatly and we have welcomed the next generation of the fancy to our pages. 2014 will be as exciting as 2013 – the AKC has engaged in a PR program to re-enage the American consumer to consider purebreds again. We will be there with our pom-poms, rooting them on & supporting their & your efforts to preserve, protect our dogs, everyday.

As 2013 draws to a close, we wanted to look back. Today, we are bringing you Best In Show Daily’s Publishers Picks. My pick of the best stories for 2013.
