A Three-Pawed Pup, plus Traveling and Packing

Editor Susan Chaney introduces Best In Show Daily readers to a retriever puppy destined for a special job in life. When Pirelli was born with a missing foot, the staff at Canine Assistants in Alpharetta, Ga., knew he would never become a service dog like his littermates. Discover the inspirational role this unique pup will play in a program designed to teach disability education.

When it comes to packing for a long dog show weekend, Kayla Bertagnolli admits that she’s a bit of a procrastinator. This is especially true when our DFR blogger is flying out of town and isn’t exactly sure what to wear. With her (virtual) life up in the air, selecting the right outfit is less important to her than visiting with friends and seeing some of the year’s top show dogs compete.

Be sure to click on our banner ads highlighting many of this year’s top-winning show dogs. These gorgeous microsites present each dog’s career through unlimited photos and videos that accompany a complete, up-to-the-minute track record of wins.
