Big Winners in ‘the Big D,’ plus a Monday Morning Mop-Up

A triple-header in Dallas witnessed a trio of dogs with impeccable pedigrees go Best in Show. The Greater Collin, Trinity Valley and Texas Kennel Clubs hosted their all-breed shows this past weekend, and a Pointer, Standard Poodle and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel each took home the red, white and blue rosette. Senior Editor Christi McDonald has the results from “the Big D” in her latest edition of Fancy That.

Blogger-in-Chief Billy Wheeler acknowledges that this year’s race – like four of the last six show seasons – is shaping up to be a contest between two dogs. The “Sky" is the limit for the nation’s top contender, but the current runner-up has been making a very strong “impression” lately. Stay up-to-date on this year’s race with Billy’s Dog Show Poop.

Best In Show Daily has partnered with British Dog World to deliver news and information to fanciers on both sides of the pond. While social media streams have brought people in the dog sport closer, Internet publications allow owners, breeders and handlers to share their pride and joy with the world while navigating the local, national and international show scene. Please join with us as we expand the online experience of today’s ever evolving “dog world.”
