Carolyn Hensley, Ph.D., plus the Place to Be Seen

Since 1966, Carolyn Hensley, Ph.D., has been active in the world of purebred dogs. A board member of the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America and the Lake Matthews Kennel Club, Carolyn has contributed to the sport in many ways, including as a breeder, owner-handler, show chair and judge. Find out whom she credits for inspiring her to develop her love of the dog show world, and learn the words of wisdom she was taught as a child that she’s followed throughout her life.

Billy Wheeler shares his impression today of his excursion to the Philadelphia suburbs for last weekend’s Terrier tour. “Entries are down,” he writes, citing several reasons for the downturn that are largely out of the exhibitors’ control. However, our Blogger-in-Chief notes one trend that he finds disheartening. Find out why Billy thinks it’s imperative to enter your dog at a show like Montgomery County.

Best In Show Daily invites you to share your knowledge and experience with our readers – among the most active participants in the dog game. If you’ve written an article you’d like to see published on Best In Show Daily or would like to pen one, please email me at dan@bestinshowdaily.
