Editor Susan Chaney introduces readers today to the exhilarating sport of dock diving. Three major organizations host these wet and wild competitions, and each offers a variety of divisions that welcome dogs of every size and experience level. Although titles may be earned, the sport is also about having fun. Get to know some of the enthusiastic participants who enjoy watching their dogs jump for joy into a pool of water.
Last weekend, Social Media Maven Pilar Kuhn and her husband Rod took their Scotties to compete at Great Western. Pilar says the Terriers-only show is an event worth celebrating for a variety of reasons. Meet the veteran entry that brought happy tears to her eyes, and find out how a trip to Long Beach, Calif., in June can feel just like a family reunion.
