Dogs At Work Program for AKC Judges in Pennsylvania

For Release: March 12, 2012

Contact: Mark R. Kennedy, mkr404@live.com

The PA Dog Judges Association is presenting a Dogs At Work program for all AKC judges on Saturday May 5, 2012, at Townsend Park, Murrysville, PA 15668.

We are also offering a Canine Temperament Test and Beginning Rally Training. These programs are open to all of your club members and judges.

We have invited two well known local authors to personally autograph their books. Rick LeBeau, author of “Count Noble, The Greatest Dog That Ever Lived” and Dennis Marsili author of “Excessive Forces”, A Pittsburgh Police Thriller.

Additionally, we are paying tribute to one of our local police officers, Canine Officer Derek Kotecki, shot and killed while attempting to apprehend a drug suspect, in October of last year. We have met with the Kotecki family and Lower Burrell Police Department. We are assisting them in developing a permanent dog-related item in Officer Kotecki’s memory. Please view the Hyperlink regarding Officer Kotecki. http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/email/s_762235.html?_s_icm

Therefore, we would like to ask your club for a donation for Officer Kotecki’s dog related item. Your club will be given full credit regarding this item, including any and all media coverage. Please make your check payable to the PDJA and mail it to:
