Eurasia 2013, plus Shows Closing April 10, 2013

Senior Editor Bo Bengtson delivers the first of two reports from the recent all-breed shows held in Moscow. The Eurasia Show is often referred to as “the Crufts of Russia,” and this year’s event drew an impressive entry of nearly 13,000 dogs. Meet each of the day’s Group winners, including the Best in Show-winning Labrador Retriever from the Ukraine.

It’s easy to tell that Spring has sprung when show committees start to offer decidedly festive special features at their events. Senior Editor Christi McDonald previews several show weekends where exhibitors are encouraged to dress for the beach, enjoy a picnic in the park and celebrate with a hula dancer. Discover all the details about some of the clubs that are working so hard to make their dog shows a real party.

Best In Show Daily invites you to share your knowledge and experience with our readers – among the most active participants in the dog game. If you’ve written an article you’d like to see published on Best In Show Daily or would like to pen one, please email me at dan@bestinshowdaily.

The show covered more than 60 rings in three separate pavilions of the vast Crocus Expo and Convention Center in the outskirts of Moscow. more
