Legendary ‘Hidden Gems,’ plus Shows Closing July 24, 2013

Senior Editor Bo Bengtson introduces several memorable show dogs that began their American careers with much fanfare. Not every legendary show dog achieves the highest heights in the rankings, but these dogs have certainly left an indelible mark, thanks to their great beginnings. “Next time you attend a show where the clubs have made an effort to provide special attractions and extra activities for exhibitors or spectators, seek out show committee members and let them know you appreciate it.” So writes Senior Editor Christi McDonald in her introduction of the many special happenings planned for shows in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington state.
