Juniors from nearly two-dozen states gathered in Louisville, Ky., last weekend to compete in the Midwest Regional Top Junior Handler Competition in conjunction with the Kentuckiana Cluster of dog shows. Forty-two eligible juniors competed at this year’s event, and four juniors received scholarships for their performances. Kayla Bertagnolli introduces them and shares a few words from the winner in today’s DFR.
Blogger-in-Chief Billy Wheeler takes a look at the overall entries at shows being held this week, including a five-day cluster in Raleigh, N.C., and four days of competition in Edison, N.J. and Vallejo, Calif. The selection of venues is especially limited this weekend, so some exhibitors are traveling considerable distances to make up the entries. Check out the overall figures in Billy’s latest Back Story.
