Poodle-Palooza! Celebrating Bests, Back-to-Backs, Specialties & A Special First

This past week was full of excitement with several Nationals and prestigious Clusters taking place from Coast-to-Coast.

Poodle Club of America returned to Salisbury, Maryland for another terrific 10 days of Poodle-Palooza! Coming away with the BISS was Black Standard Bitch Gch Dawin Hearts On Fire.

Back-to-Back Bests

GCh Woodsides Megabucks “Megabucks” was awarded two Bests In Show at the Treasure Coast Kennel Club in Vero Beach. Saturday was under Mr. Walter Sommerfelt and on Sunday, he was given the top award by Dr. Carol White-Moser. Megabucks is now the Number One German Shepherd Dog and the Number Eight Herding Dog with five BIS and 13 Group 1’s.

Buhund GCh Jotun Bella Binna “Binna” is celebrating her first BIS and the first for the breed since their recognition by the AKC. Handler Amie McLaughlin said:

“It was beyond amazing. she is the first Buhund to go RBIS and the first to go BIS. Also the first to get back-to-back group 1s.To accomplish my first best in show on a dog and have it be the first for the breed. I am on cloud nine.”

Terrier Club of Michigan Terrier Specialty hosted 188 dogs under Mr. Michael Buckely. BISS was awarded to Scottish Terrier GCh Roundtown Everyday Magic of Maryscot.

GCh Riverside Telltail Golddigger was awarded BISS at the the Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of America National Specialty which was judged by Ms. Cathy Ochs-Cline.

GCh Riverside Telltail Golddigger Won the Cardigan Corgi National and the Megan Competition. She is the 4th to win both!

GCh Avatar Cosmac Storm was awarded BISS by Mrs. Catherine Thompson at the American Rottweiler Club National Specialty on Saturday.
