My Favorite Things: Throw the Damn Ball

Well-known beagle breeder Leah Bertagnolli is always on the look-out for off-kilter books on dogs to share with friends & family. Recently published Throw The Damn Ball hits the mark perfectly with its zany poetry written by dogs for their humans. With the holidays here, she thought this might be of interest for dog lovers with similar tastes.

Have you ever thought about what is running through your dogs head? The answer could be Throw the Damn Ball.  A funny and quirky book written by R.D. Rosen, Harry Prichett and Rob Battles, the same authors of New York Times Best Seller Bad Dogs.

Throw the damn ball: Classic Poetry by Dogs takes a fun look at our dogs thoughts and peculiarities.

A true expose in verse: from “Barf” to the errr ummm, “Things” our furry friends leave around the house this book will have you rolling with laughter and at times reflecting on your best friend’s feelings. The photos that accompany the poems will make you smile! It’s a romping good time for anyone that loves dogs and their amusing, sometimes horrifying, behaviors.

Throw the damn ball: Classic Poetry by Dogs is a wonderful collection of poems from the dogs’ point of view, irreverent witty, gross, charming. You’ll want to call all your friends and read the poems to them – they’re that good and that funny.  Throw the damn ball: Classic Poetry highlights all the joys of living with dogs. You certainly don’t need to be owned by a dog to enjoy this little gem of a book or to give it as a gift!

Stick.
Mysterious and Woody.
How I love thee
So loyal and true.
Why do I crave you so?
Never would I let you go.

Hark!
Whats that lying in yonder trees?
Another Stick?

Stick.
Mysterious and Woody.
How I love thee…
