According to a new study out of Eötvös Loránd University in Hungary, the domestic dog is capable of reproducing familiar and novel actions after different periods of delay. Living in human social groups has likely provided dogs with the ability to learn, retain and replay actions taught by humans. Discover how researchers tested the dog’s cognitive ability of deferred human imitation.
