The Latest Show Results, plus Greeley, Colorado

Blogger-in-Chief Billy Wheeler brings you his Monday Morning Mop Up with show reports from near and far. The weekend’s Best in Show and Group winners from Biloxi, Miss., to Bridgewater, N.J., are delivered with panache in today’s Dog Show Poop. The Evergreen Colorado Kennel Club held back-to-back all-breed shows this weekend and Senior Editor Christi McDonald has information on all the Group-winning dogs. More than 1,500 dogs were entered each day, including several of the nation’s top-ranked contenders. Find out which dogs were in Greeley, Colo., and learn who added another Best in Show to their record.

Monday Morning Mop Up

We start our Monday Morning Mop Up in Biloxi MS where two of our Top Five Dogs All Breeds had a very good week. Both the English Springer Spaniel, GCH CH Wynmoor Champagne Supenova, and the Miniature Pinscher, GCH CH Marlex Classic Red Glare, each picked up BACK2BACK BIS. more



Fancy That: Greeley, Colo.

Two all-breed shows hosted by the Evergreen Colorado Kennel Club and held in Greeley this past weekend drew entries of more than 1,500 dogs each day. Two of the country’s top four dogs of all breeds duked it out for the final spot each day, but only one took home a Best in Show ribbon.

On Saturday judge Betty-Anne Stenmark awarded Best in Show to the Springer, GCh. Wynmoor Champagne Supernova, the Number 2 dog among all breeds in official stats through the end of July. more
