‘The Patron Saint of Lost Dogs,’ plus Memories that Last Forever

Editor Susan Chaney enjoys a good book – and a good book to review. In “The Patron Saint of Lost Dogs,” Susan’s found a fictional account of a small town vet penned by a real life veterinary surgeon, with all the drama and humor found in any private practice. Meet Eden Falls’ small animal doctor and the colorful community of characters he serves.

Junior handlers may have a limited number of years to compete, but the memories made in the Junior Showmanship ring will surely last a lifetime. In today’s DFR, Kayla Bertagnolli takes a look at the many victories, big and small, that young handlers will treasure for years to come.
