United Kennel Club Recognizes Barn Hunt Titles in 2014!

December 10, 2014. The United Kennel Club is excited to announce that,
beginning January 1, 2014, we will be recognizing Barn Hunt titles earned
through the Barn Hunt Association LLC.

The UKC Dog Events Department is always looking for new and exciting
programs that support our vision of the Total Dog. Barn Hunt is an
excellent test of a dog’s natural scenting ability and prey drive. During
Barn Hunt trials dogs also have to be agile enough to maneuver through
tunnels and climb over stacks of hay to find their prey.

Beginning January 1, 2014, Barn Hunt Association LLC title-holders can
submit a copy of their Barn Hunt title certificate, the official UKC
application, and the $20 recording fee, to have the title recorded on the
dog’s United Kennel Club record. They will receive a title certificate
recognizing their dogs’ accomplishments.
