World Dog Show: Day Two and Helping Pets in Need

Three dogs were selected yesterday to represent their Groups in tonight’s Best in Show ring at the World Dog Show. The winners from Group 1 (Sheepdogs and Cattle Dogs, except Swiss Cattle Dogs), Group 5 (Spitz and Primitive Types) and Group 9 (Companions and Toys) are featured on Best In Show Daily, fresh from their victories in Salzburg, Austria.

In today’s podcast with Pilar Kuhn, Cathy Cline and Stephen Cabral talk about the organization that is helping sick animals get well and remain at home with their families. Friends and Vets Helping Pets provides financial assistance to pet owners by working directly with veterinarians to cover the costs of treatment. Find out how a desire to see that no animal suffers became a charity that is benefiting dogs, cats and horses in three states.
