World Dog Show: Day One, plus the Incredible Dog Challenge
The World Dog Show got under way yesterday in Budapest, Hungary, with dogs competing in Groups 3, 4 and 5. Terriers and Dachshunds filled the rings at the Hungexpo alongside the Spitz and Primitive breeds, and three lucky dogs were chosen to compete in Sunday’s Best in Show finale. Find out all the details in contributing editor Karl Donvil’s first report from the banks of the Danube.

Editor Susan Chaney reports on the Purina Pro Plan Incredible Dog Challenge held earlier this month in St. Petersburg, Fla. The second in a trio of annual events brought together performance dogs for a full day of competitions that included agility, dock diving and weave-pole racing. Meet a few of the dogs and their handlers who had fun-in-the-sun at Spa Beach Park.
