‘Woofstock’ by the Numbers, plus Brabo Show 2013
Blogger-in-Chief Billy Wheeler has the breakdown of the entry at Woofstock, billed as “Four Days of Peace, Music and Dogs.” Next weekend’s party, hosted by the Contra Costa Kennel Club and Lake County Kennel Club of Northern California, promises to be another unforgettable weekend where exhibitors and spectators can let their hair down. Get the data on Beardie, Berner and Bouvier entries in Billy’s latest Back Story.

European shows have always drawn exhibitors from throughout the continent, of course, but events of every size are increasingly welcoming overseas exhibitors. Entries from the U.K., Scandinavia and Russia continue to join the dog sport in Europe, often resulting in Group placements and even Best in Show wins. Meet the Group winners at Belgium’s Brabo Show 2013, including the local Weimaraner that kicked everyone’s you-know-what.

Best In Show Daily invites you to participate in our latest online poll. Each week we’re asking readers to share their opinions on a topic of interest to breeders, exhibitors and dog lovers everywhere. This week we’d like to know what you think is the biggest threat to the welfare of purebred dogs today. To participate in our poll, go directly to the right-hand column of our home page at Let us know what you think!
