Tragedy has again struck the dog world as we recoil in horror at the photos of Lisa Croft-Ellliot & Carrie Russell-Smith’s destroyed rig. Parked on the shoulder due to a break-down, they were hit by a large truck. Unbelievably, Carrie, Lisa & Anastasia Egorovawere escaped with some injuries, however three of their dogs were killed as a result. The corgi Darren has been found to everyone’s great relief. We extend our condolences for the lost dogs, and wish Lisa, Carrie & Anastasia a speedy recovery – BISD

The motor home in which the women were travelling had broken down and was in the hard shoulder of the motorway. Reports suggest they had been waiting for several hours for a recovery vehicle. Dog World understands that at least one recovery firm would not attend because there were dogs in the vehicle.
